On Wednesday 18th March 2026, I gave birth to my first baby. He was 4 days late via natural delivery. Throughout my whole pregnancy, I did none of the labour "prep" you may see online (e.g. raspberry leaf tea, eating dates, etc.), and I still had the easiest labour. This weekend was a Bank Holiday weekend so it was full of time spent with the family and eating good food! We start this weekend's vlog on Thursday where I share with you my new purchase, a backpack for my new everyday items as a mother to a newborn, followed by a trip to Sheringham with my dad on Friday. We're back in the kitchen garden making further improvements, including rebuilding the growhouse for growing the tomato plants we bought in the last journal. Mum picks her bumper crop of rhubarb for me to take home and bake a rhubarb crumble (featured in next weeks vlog) and we get to sowing all our seeds!
