Welcome to the first post of 2024! I'm so happy to be back writing and creating content. I love it so much I'd just lost my inspiration and way a bit.
To get back into the swing of things and to share something with you all that I'm passionate about, I'm showcasing the Chedworth Bit Handbag from Hicks & Hides that is currently on sale for half price! Yes, you read that right!
I bought this handbag a year ago now and after seeing AskCharlie had joined the Chedworth family and seeing it was on sale, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to give you my review on the bag and to show it off.
Firstly, can I just say how beautifully crafted it is. It's such a beautiful piece and it's really built for the long haul. It's a spacious and roomy bag that keeps you organised but allows you to pack as much or as little as you need on a daily basis.
I use this bag every day as my work handbag as it allows me to take my 13" Macbook Pro and iPad Air with me but without the strain on my shoulder.
This bag is divided in the middle giving you two large open sections with a zipped section separating the two. At the front of the bag, there are two small slip pockets for a mobile phone etc, I use those pockets for easy-to-reach regular items such as lip balm and hand cream.
At the back, there is a zipped security pocket which is a decent size.
For reference, I'm only 5 foot 2" and I think this bag is the perfect size! It's what I'd class as a medium/large bag and it far from drowns me.
I love the nod to horse girls with the "bit" accent on the front, a really lovely subtle touch and there's no ugly branding which makes this bag really classy.
Overall, I ADORE this bag and I can't see myself using any other bag on a daily basis to carry all my bits.
