Reducing Online Social Pressures šŸ–„šŸ˜„šŸ‘Ž

I realised this past week or so that I've been pressuring myself to blog and come up with something worthwhile to share with you all, but then I remember that quite a few of you out there enjoyed my old chatty posts and I think that old school style of blogging is much more my niche.

I've also toyed with the idea of whether I want to continue sharing my life on the internet the way that I have done but to be honest it does give me some joy to do what I do and whilst you lovely lot are enjoying it, I will carry on.

The Social Pressures

I've never aspired to be that "social influencer" type nor do I ever desire to be one so I don't pressure myself to take these perfect insta snaps or promote this and that. I'm just me. I just have the added bonus of having a following that are inspired and influenced by me whilst I simply post about the things I love ā¤ļø.

Following on from that, I wanted to discuss the Insta world changes! I can't believe how much the country fashion insta bubble has changed since I started blogging back in 2015. It was such a small little world and we literally wrote (blogged) and shared some cute outfits in tweed or our favourite old Barbour, now it's all about wearing the "on trend" brands, the most expensive gifted items, or how relevant your hashtags are and honestly, that makes me sad.

The market has become soooo bloomin saturated over these 7 years, especially with everyone and their mothers creating a clothing brand called "something & something". I miss the good old days when there was no pressure and it wasn't a trend. Just real country folk.

There are still a few OG's keepin' it real thankfully who I have been enjoying since the start and haven't changed themselves. Here is a list of my long-term faves to name a few; Callie Coles, Girl About The Yard, Girl about The Farm and My Little Country Life.

That'll do for this post, I'll share something more exciting next time I'm sure, just nice to have this little space to share my current thoughts, my favourite outfit combos and life in the countryside!

Speak soon,
