Sporting Hares Collection Hat Review

I've owned my Collection Hat from Sporting Hares for around 8 months but have never used it to its full potential.

Potential you ask? What do I mean by potential?

Well, I mean Sporting Hares D.W.R. membrane that they use on their hats and gilets which waterproofs the suede to extreme measures.

D.W.R. stands for Durable Water Repellant and they apply it to the suede in the last stages of manufacturing. This then makes your beautiful suede pieces super resistant to the harsh weather England so generously loves to give us.

Sporting Hares pride themselves upon this feature and it really makes them stand out from the crowd.

You can watch a video of how amazing this membrane really is by following this link to their Instagram post, Click Here.

Now, on to my personal review of the hat itself now we have covered its amazing features.

My Review

As previously mentioned, I haven't had my hat for too long but long enough that I can give an honest review. First of all, it's an absolutely beautiful colour blue which I would refer to as Sporting Hares blue as it's almost iconic to the brand to me.

Personally, I have quite a small head and I tend to struggle with finding a cap that isn't way too big for my head and the Sporting Hares Collection Hat is a winner for me as it's adjustable for any size head. Also worth a mention is the fastening as it's very secure and hasn't moved at all since adjusting. I found a lot of the time, the fastening doesn't stay put for very long but Sporting Hares have got it right on this one.

There isn't much to say about a hat really but I think I've covered most of it! It's very comfy and lightweight. The peak is the perfect size, not too big that it looks stupid but big enough to shelter your eyes from the sun as a cap should.

I hope this review/product write up has been of use to you if you were wondering what the hype was all about.

Much love,
